Pickering Museum Village to

Receive $4 Million in Funding

Ms. Jennifer O’Connell, Member of Parliament (Pickering-Uxbridge), announced $4 million in funding for the Pickering Museum Village. She made the announcement on behalf of the Honourable Steven Guilbeault, Minister of Canadian Heritage.

​

The Canada Cultural Spaces Fund support will go towards the construction of the Pickering Heritage & Community Centre at the Pickering Museum Village.

​

The new 40,000-square-foot facility will house the city’s archives, local history and museum collection, theatre and exhibition space, as well as programming space for educational programs.
