• Redman House Program Centre
This frame house was built by Thomas Redman between 1851 and 1860 on Balsam Road, Pickering, Lot 5, Concession 6. The City of Pickering acquired the house and it was moved to the Pickering Museum Village in February, 2005 to become the site's program centre. The interior was redesigned to provide heated and air conditioned staff facilities and meeting room space, and a rear addition houses a fully appointed kitchen, staff and volunteer change rooms, public washrooms, and additional storage areas. This building, opened in September 2005, enables year 'round use for public programming.
Access to the public washrooms is through the south entrance
